For this 4×4 project, we installed an ARB bull bar bumper (powder-coated fire engine red), an ARB steel roof rack (mounted after the roof was custom-painted black to match the truck), a Warn M8000-S winch, satin black White Knuckle offroad rock sliders, an ARB rear bumper with integrated parking sensors (later swapped with a Kaymar rear bumper), and brush guards for rear lights on a 2008 FJ Cruiser.
ARB bull bars are loaded with features aimed at making remote area travel safer, utilizing an all-steel construction for maximum strength and protection. Unlike most brush guards and bumpers, ARB bull bars incorporate a fully engineered mounting system which completely replaces the factory bumper.
Manufactured from strong, tubular steel and featuring a basket in the front and a flat rack in the rear, the ARB steel roof rack is the obvious place for large, bulky items that are difficult to fit in the cabin of the vehicle. With additional accessories now available, such as waterproof bags and spacecases, you don’t have to worry about your gear being exposed to the elements and getting wet and/or dusty while traveling.
ARB’s Modular Rear Bumpers offer the greatest combination of protection and storage flexibility. You begin building your rear bumper and tire carrier by first selecting the main rear bumper portion and then you have to choose one of three choices for both the left and right sides of the carrier. On each side, you can option a Tire Carrier, a Jerry Can Holder or a Blank Panel. Whether you need a couple of spare tires, extra fuel or any combination of the two, the ARB Rear Bumper is a perfect way to balance your load. Twin 33″ tires can be fitted or a larger size tire can be paired with a Jerry Can or Blanking Panel for the perfect fit.
